RONALD WALTER DURBAN
Born in London in 1932. Studied graphic design and painting at Epsom & Ewell School of Art & St. Martins, London. For 10 years working in central London in advertising agencies and studios.

Moved to Norwich in 1966 with my wife Pauline and our then two young sons, working as a designer/illustrator. During this time fine art was only a small but very precious part of my life.

In 1996 I achieved my long held ambition to become a full-time painter, mainly in oils. After travelling in Europe in our motor caravan, me sketching as we travelled, we opened a gallery in Woodbridge Suffolk, with Pauline handling sales etc. and me in my studio above the gallery. My paintings have sold throughout the UK & Europe, also in many other countries including USA, Russia and Japan.
For the last 13 years we have lived and worked in an apartment in Buxton Mill, 13 miles north of Norwich. Exhibiting mainly in one man exhibitions.
