Born in London in 1932, studied graphic design and painting at Epsom & Ewell School of Art & St. Martins, London. For 10 years I was working in central London at advertising agencies and studios. Moved to Norwich in 1966 with my wife, Pauline and our two young sons, working as a designer/illustrator. During this time fine art was only a small but very precious part of my life.

In 1996 I achieved my long held ambition to become a full-time painter, mainly in oils. After travelling in Europe in our motor caravan sketching as we traveled. We opened a gallery in Woodbridge Suffolk, with Pauline handling sales and me in my studio above the gallery. We now live and work in an apartment in Buxton Mill, near Norwich. My work has sold throughout the UK & Europe, also in many other countries including USA, Russia and Japan.
